Crock pot that is - see what I did there, kind of misdirected a bland cooking post like it was something exciting. Well, for me, the cooking IS exciting so I feel good about it.
Anyway, I like to do most things from scratch. But with the recent medical hoopla, I confess to taking an easy way out. This was absolutely delicious, so fast, so easy - so doing it again and again and again!!! It makes a Chicago style, deep dish pizza.
Crock Pot Pizza
1 can refrigerated pizza dough (you could definitely make your own)
3/4 cup your favorite pizza sauce
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
**your favorite pizza toppings
Spray crockpot with cooking spray.
Cut two strips of parchment paper and lay in crockpot like a cross (this will help lift out the finished pizza).
Remove dough from can and press into bottom of crockpot.
Spoon sauce evenly over dough.
Sprinkle on cheese.
Place toppings.
Put lid on crockpot but leave it off a bit, so not too much moisture collects.
Cook on high for two hours.
