The people who hang out with me on Facebook already know about the K-Kitty. In December, a friend sent me a text message at 8:00 in the evening. They had found a very young kitten - could I take it? Well, I usually need a barn cat, so I said sure.
When Kennedy arrived, she was very young - her eyes had been opened for less than a day, so she was between 3-4 weeks old. I couldn't put her in the barn, so I set up the basement as a kitten wonderland, and figured I would send her to the barn when she was a bit older (yeah, yeah - you all knew how that was going to end).
Six months later, and the K-Kitty has firmly established herself as Queen of the World; she will be living where ever she feels like it, and that is NOT in the barn. We wouldn't have it any other way.
Why yes...yes...that is a red velvet cushion designed especially for her royal comfort....
I wanted to collect my Kennedy notes in one place, and this seemed as good a place as any!!
