This has been a busy few days, and one of the very best parts has been the addition of some new farm family members!! On Wednesday I got a call from a lady who had rescued a few kittens from Animal Control, and could Tails of Hope Rescue take them in. Well, TOHR is full, but my barn always has room for a few more. So off I toddled to the big city (Albemarle), and came home with two little 6 week old kittens.
We have fixed up a secure zone in the tack room, and installed the babies, and I am enjoying them so much. Unfortunately, I let Dave name them, and he has christened them Alfred and Hazel. Alfred is a cuddler, Hazel is a bit more cautious, and they are both simply adorable.
